New! Coloring Bookmarks and Coloring Greeting Cards

I'm so excited to introduce two brand-new products to our lineup: coloring bookmarks and coloring greeting cards. Here's where to find them on the website:

I've wanted to make coloring bookmarks for a couple of years, and this fall felt like the right time to finally bring the idea to life. These new pieces started as a reimagining of my original brass bookmark designs. I took the artwork I already loved, redrew it into taller, more detailed illustrations, and turned each one into something you can color by hand. From there, the idea grew into a full line of colorable paper goods, including a set of greeting cards that let the person receiving them add the final creative touch.

Set of six colorable bookmarks with cactus and mountain designs

What Are Coloring Bookmarks?

My new coloring bookmarks are exactly what they sound like: a bookmark you get to color yourself before you use it. Each set includes six bookmarks featuring six completely unique designs, so there's a lot of variety in every package.

I sell these as a complete set rather than individually because they're more of an activity than a single piece of art. The paper is thick and smooth, so it holds ink from markers beautifully and makes coloring feel effortless.

Each bookmark also has a subtle dotted line on the back, so you can jot a quick note while you're reading, mark your page, or personalize it before giving it as a gift.

Ways to use your coloring bookmarks:

  • Color one and use it while you read
  • Slip a colored bookmark into a greeting card as a handmade surprise
  • Tuck a note into your kid's lunchbox on the dotted back
  • Bonus: Laminate your finished design for extra durability and an extra pop of color

They're simple enough for kids to enjoy, but detailed enough that adults who love coloring as a relaxing hobby will have fun with them too.

What Are Coloring Greeting Cards?

The second product in this launch is something I haven't seen anywhere else in our corner of the maker world: coloring greeting cards. These are blank greeting cards featuring black-and-white line art on the front that  or your kiddos can color in before mailing.

For this first release, I'm launching three designs to cover the occasions people reach for most often:

  • Happy Birthday featuring the cactus and clouds design
  • Thank You So Much featuring a rainbow and mountain scene
  • Sending Love and Hugs (an everyday, all-occasion card) featuring a saguaro cactus under a rainbow arch

Each card is blank on the inside, so you can write your own message. I love the idea of a parent handing one of these to their kids to color for a grandparent, teacher, or family member, or an adult using one as a relaxing, creative way to send a thank-you note. Either way, it turns sending a card into a shared creative moment.

A note for my wholesale stockists: Each card also includes a small note on the back letting the recipient know it's meant to be colored, along with a colorful sticker on the front.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are coloring bookmarks? Coloring bookmarks are bookmarks printed with black-and-white line art that you color in yourself using markers, colored pencils, or gel pens, turning a functional bookmark into a small, personalized piece of art.

How many designs come in the set of coloring bookmarks? Each set includes six bookmarks, with six entirely different designs, including cactus, cloud, mountain, rainbow, and sunshine themes.

Are coloring bookmarks and coloring greeting cards good for kids or adults? Both. The designs are detailed enough for adults who enjoy coloring as a relaxing hobby, but simple enough for kids to color easily and confidently.

What is a coloring greeting card? A coloring greeting card is a blank greeting card with a black-and-white illustration on the front that you color in before sending, so the card feels personal and handmade even before you write the message inside.

What greeting card designs are available? The launch collection includes a Happy Birthday card, a Thank You card, and an all-occasion "Sending Love and Hugs" card.

What kind of markers work best on these products? The paper used for both the bookmarks and the greeting cards is thick and smooth, which allows it to take marker ink well without excessive bleed-through, making coloring feel effortless.

Can I laminate a coloring bookmark after coloring it? Yes. Laminating a finished bookmark is a great way to add durability and make the colors pop even more, though lamination sheets are not included with the product.

I'm so proud of how this collection turned out, and I hope you love creating with these as much as I loved designing them. If you pick up a set of bookmarks or a few cards, I'd love to see what you create. Tag me on Instagram with your finished pieces!
